Reports of a disagreement in the camp surfaced after the striker's negative reaction to the manager's tactical decisions in Sunday's 2-1 Premier League defeat to Manchester United.
The Frenchman has received widespread criticism from fans for substituting Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who had just created Van Persie's equaliser, and replacing him with Andrey Arshavin, with the Russian failing to properly mark Antonio Valencia in the build-up to United's winning goal.

The Dutch forward appeared to mouth the words 'no' when Chamberlain's number came up on the board, but he insists he was not questioning Wenger, just revealing his disappointment at the 18-year-old's exit.
"I was not having a go at the boss on Sunday - I was just sad to see Alex leave the pitch as he just gave the assist for our only goal," the 28-year-old told The Sun.
"I was not questioning his judgement - I know it's not my place to challenge what Arsene Wenger does. Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain had a calf injury. We did not know that but the boss did and brought Andrey Arshavin on."
"The manager and I are fine and my relationship with the club is good. There is no problem, there is no conflict and there is no controversy."
